Image Requirements

What types of images can I send?
We accept:

  • Photographic negatives and transparencies

  • Original photo prints

  • Digital images (via email or CD/DVD)
    For digital files: Save as JPG (2MB-10MB file size). Posted CDs should use protective packaging. Contact us to verify file compatibility.

Do you accept images from digital cameras?
Yes. Ensure your camera is set to maximum resolution to prevent pixelation when enlarging. Our team will advise if your image quality is insufficient for your desired size.

Do I need to own the image I send?
You must either:

  1. Hold copyright to the image, or

  2. Have written permission from the copyright holder.
    We reserve the right to refuse prints of potentially offensive material.


Canvas Printing

What is gallery wrap/wrap options?
Gallery wrap folds the image around the frame edges. Requires 1.75" bleed on each side for seamless continuation of your design.

What frames do you use?

  • Lightweight FSC-certified wooden frames

  • 18mm or 38mm depth options

  • Angled profile to minimize canvas contact

How do you protect your canvases?

  • UV-resistant pigment inks

  • Dust/scratch/water protection

  • Foam-wrapped and shipped in reinforced boxes

Will my canvas fade?
Our archival-quality inks provide fade resistance for up to 75 years.


Order Process

When will I receive my canvas?
Standard production time: 5 working days after order/payment confirmation.

Do you return original images?
Yes, but we recommend keeping copies. Originals are returned separately - we cannot be liable for loss/damage in transit.

Can you manipulate images?
Our design team can:

  • Convert to black & white

  • Color correct

  • Repair damage

  • Adjust contrast
    Final quality depends on the original image's condition.


Customer Service

How should I hang my canvas?
All canvases are ready-to-hang. Use:

  • Picture hanging pins, or

  • Screw and wall plug
    Avoid electrical wires/pipes when installing.

What if I'm not satisfied?
Contact us within 5 business days at sales@digitalimagelounge.co.uk. For damaged deliveries:

  1. Note damage on carrier's paperwork

  2. Email us immediately

  3. Return if necessary
