Each image submitter is required by UK law to own the right to, or to obtain permission to, use any image before the image is uploaded or printed at Digital Inage Lounge. At our discretion and in appropriate circumstances, we may terminate the accounts of users or prevent access to the Service by users who infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that infringes your copyrights, please contact us and provide all relevant details.
Verbal instructions are accepted on the basis that Digital Image Lounge will not be held responsible for any error that may arise.
An order and the acceptance of a quotation must be accompanied by sufficient information to enable Digital Image Lounge to fulfil the order and both parties must agree any modifications in advance. Digital Image Lounge must have the fullest details of a request to ensure an accurate quotation. Subsequent variation to the specification contained within a description can render the quotation void.
Digital Image Lounge reserves the right to alter prices without notice. Work carried out, whether preliminary, experimentally or otherwise, at the customer's request, will be charged accordingly. Digital Image Lounge services can only apply where the files from the customer are 'print ready'. 'Print ready' means that the files do not require any modification or manipulation by Digital Image Lounge.
Any modification or manipulation by Digital Image Lounge to complete a job will be quoted prior to the work being undertaken. Charges for modifications are £25.00 per hour with a minimum charge of £10:00.
Delivery to the customer will be by the most affordable means for that item and this charge is payable by the customer. Delivery will be by one of the following means: Royal Mail, Parcel Force or courier. Digital Image Lounge cannot guarantee delivery times or dates due to circumstances beyond our control.
Digital Image Lounge takes into account, wherever technically possible, requests regarding colour balance. However, without special instruction or colour sample guide, reproduction of colour will be deemed faithful at the discretion of Digital Image Lounge. Unless clearly specified, printing compositions will be at the discretion of Digital Image Lounge whose decision will be final.
All stated print and trim sizes are nominal and Digital Image Lounge will accept no liability for minor variations in size.
While every care and precaution against loss or damage to originals or articles entrusted to Digital Image Lounge will be taken, liability for loss or damage shall be limited to the invoice value of the reproduction element of that particular original or article. Where such value is considered insufficient, written notice must be given to Digital Image Lounge so that insurance may be arranged on any one specific original, the cost of which will be passed on to the customer.
Without prejudice to other remedies, Digital Image Lounge shall in respect of all unpaid debts due from the customer, retain title to the goods until such debts are paid. In the event of a customer being unable to pay debts, Digital Image Lounge may recover the goods which are it property by virtue of this clause by means it deems necessary.
Digital Image Lounge shall not be required to print any matter, which in its opinion is or may be of an illegal, immoral or libellous nature. Digital Image Lounge shall be indemnified by the customer in respect of any claims, costs and expenses arising out of any libellous matter printed for the customer or any infringement of trade marks, copyright, patent or design.
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all material presented for photography, printing, copying, duplicating or any other form of reproduction is free from any third party claims for breach of copyright or license. A request may be cancelled after work has been commenced provided all costs incurred up to the time of cancellation are paid.
Where no other terms have been specified, Digital Image Lounge's terms of payment regarding established credit accounts are payable in full within 30 days of the date of the invoice. In the case of new business, the terms are strictly payment on delivery until an account has been established. This will only be arranged at the discretion of Digital Image Lounge.
Digital Image Lounge reserves the right to add five percent per week to overdue accounts. Public customers are required to send a cheque for the full amount prior to any work being carried out by Digital Image Lounge.
Digital Image Lounge are not responsible for the care and handling of any canvas prints once received by the customer. Digital Image Lounge are not liable for damage caused by third parties. Digital Image Lounge do not add any protective laquer or covering to canvas prints and if required such protection must be carried out by the customer at the discretion and risk of the customer.
Life expectancy and performance of any canvas printing is based on manufacturers and suppliers claims. Digital Image Lounge are not liable for any deviation in quality or consistency of printed images and media. Digital Image Lounge reserves the right to change media suppliers at any time and does not guarantee consistency of media quality.
Due to the nature of inkjet printing on canvas material, 'cracking' may appear where the image is continued around the stretch frame as an image wrap. Digital Image Lounge will not accept 'cracking' as the sole reason for a canvas return.
Any complaint regarding a print must be logged with Digital Image Lounge within 24 hours of receiving the delivery and it is at the discretion of Digital Image Lounge to name compensatory terms where Digital Image Lounge feels that it is applicable. Digital Image Lounge will return original photographs to customers.

Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of Digital Image Lounge. its printers and agents, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the competitions.
The entrant(s) must be aged 16 or over.
Proof of identity and age may be required.
Use of a false name or address will result in disqualification.
All entries must be made directly by the person entering the competition.
Entries made online using methods generated by a script, macro or the use of automated devices will be void.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries lost, delayed or corrupted, or due to computer error in transit.
The prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
The winner(s) is(are) responsible for expenses and arrangements not specifically included in the prizes, including any necessary travel documents, passports and visas. Prizes are subject to availability and the prize suppliers' terms and conditions.
The promoters reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition.
In the event of a prize being unavailable, the promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
The winner(s) agree(s) to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of county of residence and will co-operate with any other reasonable requests by Digital Image Lounge relating to any post-winning publicity.
Unless stated otherwise all postal entries must be made on the relevant coupon or form printed in the magazine.
Unless stated otherwise the winner(s) will be drawn at random from all correct entries received by the closing date stated within the promotional material.
Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner(s). If the winner(s) cannot be contacted, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random, or in the event that the promotion is being judged the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the runner(s)-up selected by the same judges.
Confirmation of the prize will also be made in writing to the winner(s).
Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the prize.
Where applicable, the decision of the judges is final based on the criteria set out in the promotion and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision. Competitions may be modified or withdrawn at any time.
The provider of the prize is specified within the promotional material.
In the event of a discrepancy between these standard terms and conditions and the details in the promotional material (or any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry), the details of the promotional material (and any other terms and conditions provided/referred to at the time of entry) shall prevail.
