Digital Image Lounge – Terms & Conditions

1. Intellectual Property & Copyright

1.1 By placing an order, you confirm you either:

  • Own all rights to submitted images, OR

  • Have obtained written permission from the copyright holder

1.2 We reserve the right to:

  • Terminate accounts of repeat infringers

  • Refuse to print potentially offensive/illegal material

1.3 Copyright infringement claims must include:

  • Detailed description of the work

  • Proof of ownership

  • Your contact information

2. Order Process & Specifications

2.1 Order Requirements:

  • Must include sufficient details for production

  • Both parties must agree modifications in writing

2.2 Verbal Instructions:
Accepted but Digital Image Lounge isn’t liable for resulting errors

2.3 Quotations:

  • Based on complete specifications

  • Become void if specifications change post-approval

3. Pricing & Modifications

3.1 Pricing:

  • Subject to change without notice

  • Preliminary/experimental work charged accordingly

3.2 File Requirements:

  • "Print ready" = no manipulation needed by us

3.3 Image Editing Services:

  • £25/hour (minimum £10 charge)

  • Requires pre-approval and quote

4. Delivery & Shipping

4.1 Methods: Royal Mail, Parcel Force, or courier
4.2 Charges: Paid by customer (most economical option used)
4.3 Timelines: Not guaranteed due to third-party factors

5. Quality Assurance

5.1 Color Reproduction:

  • Done at our discretion without reference samples

  • Special instructions require written confirmation

5.2 Size Variations:

  • All dimensions are nominal

  • Minor variations don’t qualify for claims

5.3 Liability for Originals:

  • Limited to reproduction value unless insured

  • Insurance available at customer’s request/cost

6. Payment Terms

6.1 New Customers: Full payment required before production
6.2 Account Customers: Net 30 days from invoice date
6.3 Late Payments: 5% weekly interest applied

7. Product Care & Limitations

7.1 Canvas Care:

  • Customer assumes full responsibility post-delivery

  • No protective coatings applied by default

7.2 Material Limitations:

  • "Cracking" on wrapped edges isn’t a valid return reason

  • Media suppliers may change without notice

8. Returns & Complaints

8.1 Damage Claims: Must be reported within 24 hours with:

  • Returned separately

  • Recommended to keep copies before submission

9. Competitions (When Applicable)

9.1 Eligibility: UK residents 16+ (excludes employees/affiliates)
9.2 Prizes: Non-transferable, no cash alternatives
9.3 Winner Requirements:

  • May be required for publicity

  • Must provide proof of age/identity

9.4 Disqualification: Automated/fraudulent entries will be void

10. Legal & General

10.1 Indemnification: Customer agrees to cover all legal claims arising from:

  • Copyright/trademark violations

  • Libelous/illegal content

10.2 Title Retention: We retain ownership of goods until full payment

10.3 Governing Terms: These terms override any conflicting promotional materials
